Faculty of Agricultural Science and Technology
The Faculty of Agricultural Science and Technology at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili is an academic unit focusing on education, research, and training in agriculture, environmental sciences, and related fields. The faculty offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in areas such as agronomy, horticulture, plant breeding, soil science, agricultural biotechnology, plant protection, animal science, water management, agricultural mechanization, biosystems engineering, food science and technology, environmental management and more. They also conduct research to address challenges in the agricultural sector and collaborate with public and private organizations which was established in 1978 under the name of the Faculty of Agriculture with the admission of 30 students in the field of general agriculture. This faculty is the oldest unit and is considered to be the core of the formation of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, which has facilities including 45 research laboratories, two computer sites and two computer training classes, an educational and research farm, an active poultry unit, a dairy factory, research greenhouses, and an agricultural machinery workshop.
