Academic Year
The academic year in all Faculties at the University is divided into two semesters; Fall/autumn semesters begins in the first week of October and ends in January and the spring semester begins in February and ends in June.
Admission Requirements
Applicants for entry to the courses in B.Sc.degree programs offered at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili must already have the following qualifications:
I. Holding a High School Diploma awarded by an Iranian High School or a foreign school approved by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research & Technology.
II. Succeeding in the Nationwide Entrance Examination to Universities, annually administered by the Organization of Assessment of Education.
III. Meeting general requirements for entry to higher education programs (M.Sc.) degree holding a bachelor degree & Ph.D. program by holding a Master of Art degree & Overseas Students are enrolled providing they get an acceptance letter from admissions office.
Admission of Foreign Students
Foreign students are welcomed to the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili to continue their studies in both major and specific fields of study. To facilitate study for foreign students at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili,the following regulations are in effect:
1.Candidates are required to submit an application form, supported by the necessary documents ( educational and health, recommendation letters from the school where they were previously studying evidence supporting living expenses during the period of study in Iran) to the International Affairs of the University of Mohjaghegh Ardabili.
2. The documents will be assessed by the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili and the Ministry of Sciences, Cultural and Technology and the applicants will be notified of the result of the assessment by July every year.
3. As the language of instruction in Iranian universities is Persian, the foreign students are required to have an adequate knowledge and satisfactory command of the language. In the meantime the Ministry of Science, Culture and Technology organizes an Intensive Persian Language Course for foreign students whose mother tongue is other than Persian.
