University of Mohaghegh Ardabili hosted the second international congress entitled “The Mysticism in the works of Mowlana on 15-16 April 2018.
The Congress began its work by the welcoming of the UMA’s chancellor, Prof. Dr. Goudarz Sadeghi, Ayatollah Dr. Seyed Hassan Ameli, the representative of the Supreme Leader and Navadad, Deputy Provincial Governor of Ardabil Province, Dr. Ghadir Gholkarian, the faculty member of Near East university.
According to the Public Relations of the university, Ayatollah Dr. Seyed Hassan Ameli, said at the opening ceremony of the congress that Mowlana’s success in the first place is because of his complete mastery of education in Quran, hadith and history.
The congress continued two days with many keynotes speeches presented by special guests from Turkey, Cyprus, and Iran. The delegates from Iran, Turkey, Cyprus, and Azerbaijan, attended the event.
Professor Sadeghi expressed holding such events in the university can be a prelude to better mutual understanding, and promoting intercultural aspects. Based on the existing commitments for holding symposium and congresses, in order to continue the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding & the need for a broader relationship, decided to hold the Third International Joint Congress entitles: “The Effect of Farsi Language and Literature from 11^th century till now” in 2020 at the University of Near East in Cyprus.
