Faculty of Agricultural Science

 

The Faculty was founded in 1998 with only 30 students studying at graduate level. The main objectives of the faculty is to provide a qualified, well-balanced educational service for both graduate and postgraduate students in 25 fields , receive educational ranging from basic principles of agricultural engineering to the application of basic agricultural science. The programs offered in the faculty are designed to develop the capabilities of the students and to conduct research in the fields of Agriculture and to disseminate the results of the research throughout the region.

We are proud that a number of our graduates are now serving in various high-ranking scientific and administrative positions as distinguished scientist, in the domestic and foreign universities and research institutions. 

There are currently 1033 students enrolled in programs offered by the faculty and 175 students graduated in the 2013-14 academic year.
