Since the International Relations Office (IRO) intensified its activities this year, the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili (UMA) has actively welcomed partnerships with national and international universities and research institutions. We encourage inquiries and proposals for cooperation, and we continuously seek potential partners both within Iran and around the world, with the aim of broadening perspectives and aligning academic and research goals. UMA is committed to internationalization, sharing its experiences, and learning from global best practices.
To date, UMA has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with 13 universities. These agreements cover a wide range of collaborative activities, including student and staff exchanges, joint research projects, academic conferences, and cultural programs. In an effort to strengthen international engagement, UMA has invited all faculty members who have studied abroad to contribute their expertise and experience.
To facilitate collaboration and networking among these faculty members and international partners, the university has established the IFUMA (International Friends of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili) Group, which serves as a platform to support global initiatives, foster innovation, and enhance UMA’s presence on the international stage.
Through these collaborative efforts, UMA strives to expand its academic horizons, enrich student and faculty experiences, and contribute meaningfully to the global academic community.
