According to the university's public relations, Professor Aziz Habibi Yangjeh announced the presence of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili in the ISC global ranking of world universities for the third year and added:
17 Universities of medical sciences and 9 universities of technology have succeeded in entering the 2021 global ranking of ISC institutes. Also, among the comprehensive universities of the country, only 25 comprehensive universities are present in the global ranking of 2021 ISC institutes.
He, in this ranking, were named the University of Tehran, Tarbiat Modares, Shiraz, Ferdowsi Mashhad, Shahid Beheshti, Tabriz, Gilan, Yazd, Shahid Bahonar Kerman, Kashan, Isfahan, Bu Ali Sina, Razi, Semnan, Kurdistan, Mazandaran, Urmia, Shahid Chamran Ahvaz, Shahrekord, Mohaghegh Ardabili, Yasuj, Al-Zahra, Imam Khomeini International, Lorestan and Shahed as the 25 comprehensive universities and said:
In this ranking, the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, jointly with Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences, Sahand University of Technology, Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, Shahrekord, Urmia University of Medical Sciences and Yasuj, as in the previous year, is in the range of 1801-2000.
Habibi said: "Science and Technology Citation Institute (ISC) in order to rank the world's universities from four indicators including research (60% weight), education (10% weight), and innovation (15% weight) and has used international activities (weighing 15%).
The Chancellor of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili stated that in the ranking of world universities by the ISC Institute, universities that have registered at least 850 scientific documents in the period of 2017-2017 in the Web of Science database were reminded:
Due to the high weight of the research index in the ISC world rankings and considering the fact that after 2018, there has been a significant growth in the number and quality of scientific papers published in the name of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, it is hoped that the university's global and national position can improve the ISC rankings as much as possible.
