Logic Circuits Laboratory

The Logic Circuits Laboratory provides a structured environment for the analysis, design, and implementation of digital logic systems. The laboratory focuses on combinational and sequential logic, Boolean function optimization, logic synthesis, and the practical realization of digital circuits using programmable devices and hardware description methodologies. It supports both instructional and research activities aimed at developing proficiency in digital system design, verification, and hardware‑level implementation, and the following equipment are available in this laboratory.

 

In this laboratory, students conduct experiments on integrated circuits (ICs) and thoroughly examine logical relationships. Six experimental sets have been prepared, allowing students to work in groups of two to three members. The electronic instruments and educational equipment provided in this laboratory include:

a) MPI‑MA Educational Kit: This set includes a digital multimeter, a function generator capable of producing various frequencies in sine, square, and triangular forms, and a collection of different ICs used for performing activities and testing logical relationships in circuits.

b) FPGA (Xilinx) Programmable Board Set: This board, designed based on the Xilinx Spartan IC, enables students to easily and conveniently implement various logic circuits and computer architectures.

c) Complete Electronics Engineering Tool Kit

d) DC Power Supply used to provide power for circuits

e) Logic Circuit Educational Kit

f) Inductor and Capacitor Set

g) Handheld Digital Multimeter

h) Benchtop Digital Multimeter

i) Function Generator
