The Water and Wastewater Laboratory supports instructional and research activities focused on the characterization, treatment, and quality assessment of drinking water, industrial effluents, and municipal wastewater. The laboratory emphasizes physicochemical and biological analysis, including evaluation of contaminant removal processes, advanced oxidation methods, coagulation–flocculation behavior, membrane treatment performance, and microbial water quality indicators. It provides a practical environment for validating treatment models, optimizing process efficiencies, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards, and the following equipment are available in this laboratory.
1. AQUALYTIC OxyDirector BOD Reactor

This device is used to measure BOD in water in calculations related to microbial contamination of water and wastewater.

2. Spectrophotometer T80+ PG INSTRUMENT

Application:
Identification and determination of substance concentration using the transmittance and absorbance of light in a colored solution.

3. Brookfield Viscometer
