According to the Public Relations Office of the Energy Management Research Center at Mohaghegh Ardabili University, Reza Mahajery, a PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering, was honored as the Top Student Innovator of Ardabil Province during the Provincial Festival for Distinguished Researchers and Innovators held on 2 December, coinciding with the National Research and Technology Week.
This student, who conducts his research under the supervision of Dr. Hossein Shayeghi, a distinguished professor, faculty member of the university, and a researcher ranked among the world’s top one percent, received this recognition for his significant technological achievements and their impactful application at the provincial level.
The ceremony, attended by Masoud Emami-Yeganeh, Governor of Ardabil Province; Dr. Mohammad Hassanzadeh, President of Mohaghegh Ardabili University; Dr. Mohammad-Sadegh Aliaei, Provincial Secretary of Research and Technology Week; along with a number of officials, researchers and innovators, highlighted the essential role of universities in sustainable development, the importance of applied research, and the contribution of technology to the province’s development agenda.
