Department of Plant Sciences
The Department of Plant Sciences at Moghan Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources currently admits students for the continuous Bachelor’s program in Plant Production and Genetics Engineering. This department benefits from professors in the fields of agronomy and plant breeding, horticulture, ecology, and plant conservation. In addition to having a plant science laboratory, this department owns several hectares of farmland and gardens for student training. The department has extensive interactions with the country's major agricultural and horticultural production centers like Moghan Agro-industrial & livestock company, and Pars Agro-industrial & livestock company, and also collaborations with the agricultural research stations like Ardabil Agricultural Research, Education, and Extension Organization and provides facilities of visiting to the mentioned centers for the students.
