Dr. Burumand Salahi, The Head of University of Mohaghegh Ardabili’s Technology Development Center, announced: EVA Ventilator Tube Set, produced by the technologists of the university's Technology Development Center in order to treat patients with Coronavirus.
He stated that Farayand Pishrafteh Ayandeh Iranian, one of the technology units located in the Technology Development Center units of this university, has been implemented to provide the most of the country's hospitals needs to this device, he added: "This action is taken following the increasing need of the country for the necessary equipment to dealing with coronavirus and treating patients.
Salahi continued: "this company is active in the field of medical equipment production and provides part of the equipment needs of hospitals."
The Head of the Center pointed out: the company currently produces 1,500 sets of EVA ventilator pipes per day, which can be increased to about 4,000 sets per day.
He added: "This set has strong and durable connectors and while being compatible with the environment, it is prepared in two sizes for adults and children.
The ventilator device which has been localized in the country recently, is a machine that provides breathing for the patients who are not able to breathe naturally, and the transferring of the air through the ventilator tubes takes place in the patient's lungs.
