Turkish Consul General in Tabriz meets with UMA Chancellor

The Turkish Consul General in Tabriz, Mr. Hossein Gongor, at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, announced that the effort of the Turkish Consulate in Tabriz is to expand the relationship between the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili and Universities in Turkey.
According to the Public Relation Office of the University, Hossein Gongor said at a meeting with the Board of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili that our effort is to take advantage of the various opportunities to meet with academics, he said: our belief is that dialogue with university professors, provides progress. Adding: “We can use the capacity of academics to develop our relations.
Gongor assessed the cooperation and activities of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili and Turkish Universities are important, and stated: “We are also ready at the Turkish Consulate in Tabriz to help UMA’s academic staff.
The Turkish Consul General in Tabriz, by referring to the presence of Iranian students in Turkey, Mohaghegh Ardabili and the Universities of Turkey.
Professor Aziz Habibi, the chancellor of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, in this meeting by introducing the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, said: “The University with 11,000 students and 8 colleges in four cities of Ardabil, Namin, Parsabad and Meshgin Shahr, is taking great steps to expand educational and research activities.
He added that this year the amount of scientific production and publication of articles of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili with other countries of the world, including Japan, Sweden, France, United States, India, and … has been increased up to 150%.
