Fluid Mechanics Laboratory
The Fluid Mechanics Laboratory provides practical experience in analyzing the behavior of fluids under various flow conditions. Students study fundamental concepts such as fluid statics, dynamics, and viscosity through experimental setups including flow meters, Bernoulli apparatus, Reynolds’ demonstration, and hydraulic benches. The laboratory helps students visualize theoretical fluid mechanics principles and apply them to real–life engineering systems such as pipelines, pumps, and turbines. Research activities focus on flow measurement accuracy, energy loss reduction, and performance optimization in fluid transport and hydraulic systems.
