Grade 3 Physics Educational Laboratory
Welcome to the Grade 3 Physics Educational Laboratory.
The General Physics Laboratory 3 has been established to familiarize students with practical topics in "Thermodynamics" and "Geometrical Optics", providing an opportunity for them to understand theoretical concepts through direct experimental experience.
In this laboratory, a series of standard experiments are conducted, including the Determination of the mechanical equivalent of heat (Joule ’s constant), measurement of the Specific heat capacity of metals, calculation of the liner expansion coefficient, Investigation of Young ’s interference and diffraction, Determination of the critical temperature of a liquid, Measurement of the refractive index of light, Working with the spectrometer, and the study of the properties of mirrors and lenses with focus on determining their focal length and optical power, is done so enabling students to become thoroughly and practically acquainted with experimental principles of this fields.
