Electronics Laboratory

The Electronics Laboratory provides a comprehensive environment for studying the principles, analysis, and implementation of electronic circuits and systems. The laboratory focuses on semiconductor device characterization, analog and digital circuit design, amplifier and filter analysis, signal conditioning, and the behavior of electronic components under various operating conditions. It supports both instructional and research activities aimed at developing proficiency in circuit modeling, hands‑on prototyping, measurement techniques, and performance evaluation of electronic systems, and the following equipment are available in this laboratory.

This laboratory is designed for performing experiments related to basic diode circuits and transistor amplifiers using BJT and FET devices. Students are divided into six groups of two or three members to conduct the assigned experiments.

Each group is provided with a complete set of instruments and electronic components necessary for practical exercises, as listed below.

  • One oscilloscope
  • One DC power supply
  • One function generator
  • One benchtop digital multimeter
  • One handheld digital multimeter
  • One analog multimeter
  • A set of inductors and capacitors
  • A set of resistors

Each workstation is equipped with breadboards, connecting wires, and all necessary tools for circuit assembly. To help students develop the ability to recognize, identify, and differentiate electronic components, all parts are neatly organized in dedicated boxes. Students select and use these components as required for each experiment.

Overall, the laboratory provides comprehensive sets of instruments and components, ensuring that students have full access to all tools and equipment needed for practical exercises in electronic circuit design and analysis.
