In this laboratory, undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students from the Range and Watershed Management Department conduct their educational and research activities. The laboratory is equipped with a wide range of instruments required for teaching and research in the field of hydrology, including an oven, refrigerated centrifuge, various heaters, flume, Erlenmeyer shaker, hood, electric stirrer, double ring infiltrometer, rainfall simulator, rain gauge, sampler, soil auger, satellite GPS, handheld GPS units, suspended load sampler, Schmidt hammer, rock sample packs, and more.
The laboratory also contains various cartography and map interpretation tools and aerial photographs, such as printed and digital topographic maps, digital planimeter, mechanical and digital curvimeters, 1:20,000 and 1:40,000 scale aerial photos, pocket stereoscope, mirror stereoscope, and a plotter.
