Circuit and Measurement Laboratory

The Circuit and Measurement Laboratory provides a comprehensive environment for analyzing, designing, and experimentally evaluating fundamental and advanced electrical circuits. The laboratory focuses on DC and AC circuit behavior, network theorems, transient and steady‑state analysis, frequency‑domain characterization, and precision measurement methodologies using modern instrumentation. It supports both instructional and research activities aimed at developing proficiency in circuit modeling, experimental validation, troubleshooting techniques, and accurate acquisition and interpretation of electrical measurements, and the following equipment are available in this laboratory.

The Circuit and Measurement Laboratory is designed to support practical courses such as Electric Circuits I and Electrical Measurements. The laboratory provides facilities for simultaneous use by six student groups, enabling hands‑on experimentation under supervised academic instruction.

Each experimental workstation is equipped with the following instruments:

  • One oscilloscope
  • One DC power supply
  • One function generator
  • One benchtop (digital) multimeter
  • One handheld multimeter
  • One analog multimeter
  • Set of inductors and capacitors
  • Set of resistors
  • Wheatstone bridge circuit

Each workstation is equipped with breadboards, connecting wires, and the necessary tools for circuit assembly. To help students develop the ability to identify and distinguish various electronic components, all components are organized and stored in dedicated boxes. Students select and use these components according to the requirements of each assigned experiment.

In summary, the laboratory provides students with a comprehensive set of instruments, measurement equipment, and electronic components designed to facilitate practical learning, experimental analysis, and hands‑on experience in circuit implementation and measurement.
