According to the Public Relations Office of the Energy Management Research Center, Dr. Hossein Shayeghi, Head of the the Energy Management Research Center and one of the world's top one percent of scientists, held a meeting with the CEO of Ardabil Electricity Distribution Company to discuss the expansion of scientific, research, and technological cooperation.
During the meeting, the mutual capacities and capabilities of the Energy Management Research Center and the Distribution Company were reviewed and discussed, with the aim of enhancing energy efficiency and addressing the needs of the regional power industry. The key topics addressed in this session included:
● Defining and implementing practical, problem-oriented research projects in the field of the power industry and energy management
● Providing specialized and consulting services by the Energy Management Research Center to the distribution company in technical and energy efficiency areas
● Supporting master's theses and doctoral dissertations focused on topics related to the electricity industry
● Planning and organizing joint specialized webinars on challenges and emerging technologies in power distribution
● Facilitating scientific visits for students, researchers, and faculty members to the infrastructure and operational projects of the electricity distribution company
This meeting was held as part of efforts to strengthen the university–industry relationship and to optimally leverage the country's scientific and technical capacities. Both parties emphasized the importance of continued engagement and the development of strategic cooperation in the energy sector.
