Professor Aziz Habibi Yangjeh, The Chancellor of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili announced the achievement of the second rank of the University among the comprehensive universities of the Ministry of Science and the eighth rank of the country's universities in the Times 2021 Impact Ranking.
According to the university's public relations, Dr. Aziz Habibi announced that the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili won a prestigious 2nd rank in the Times 2021 Impact Ranking among the comprehensive universities under the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and ranked 8th rank among all universities in the country. The impact ranking of the world's universities for the third consecutive year is done by the Times International Rating System.
He added: "The Times Institute evaluates the world's universities based on 17 indicators of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which in 2021, this evaluation was conducted for 1115 different universities around the world.
The Chancellor of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili by noting that this university was ranked third among the comprehensive universities affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in the Times 2020 Impact Ranking, pointed out: The number of Iranian universities in the Times Impact Ranking has increased from 17 universities last year (including 9 comprehensive universities) to 27 (including 14 comprehensive universities) this year..
He pointed out that in the impact of the Times 2021 ranking, the University of Manchester from the United Kingdom has been named the best university in the world, and continued: considering the sum of the scores of 17 development indicators, the global ranking of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili is set in the range of 401-600 in the ranking the impact of the 2021 Times.
Dr.Habibi added that in the latest Times Impact Ranking, the used research data was from the Elsevier source for the period 2015 – 2019, the number and quality of publications, as well as the amount of international cooperation of the university, has grown a lot in recent years.
