The chancellor of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili said: The University ranked 9 in Iran and 427 in the World, in the ranking of Green Metrics Universities of the world.
Dr. Aziz Habibi said, according to the ranking announced by Green Metrics, University of Mohaghegh Ardabili was ranked first in this ranking and 427 of the world.
He added: In this ranking system, which is announced annually in December to the world's universities, various indicators such as the available infrastructure to create a favorable environment, attention to the optimal energy consumption and climate change, production and waste recycling, water consumption and recycling, the using of non-polluting transportation systems, as well as environmental education and research, are all the key indicators.
Dr. Habibi continued: activities aimed at the development and improvement of environmental indicators at the university, can serve as a model and engine for the other sectors of society and hence the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili in recent years, has a special look at the Green Management.
