Provincial authorities and university chancellors gathered in UMA's Research Week ceremony attended by faculty members, senior officers, and graduate students to mark the week and honor top researchers and technologists of the province.

The province governor, Dr. Khodabakhsh reminded and emphasized the unique value of research-based attitudes and plans and the inevitability of research-based decision making in the optimal route to development. He also emphasized the significant role of English proficiency among academia in order to be an effective consumer and finally a valuable producer of knowledge.

Dr. Goudarz Sadeghi also highlighted the indispensable function of research and invited the academic community for more contributions. Finally, the top researchers and technologists were introduced and awarded.
